Since I've never used one of those Mcklinky things before and I'm nervous about it, I decided to do a trial run before the Virtual Home Tour on Sunday. I'm giving you a little sneak peek and a kind of before and after post, all rolled into one!
Remember these? These were the beautiful hydrangeas I picked last fall (08) from my brother Michael's backyard bush. They were absolutely gorgeous. I fell in love with the rich colors...

So, with Lynn's help, we pounded nails into the shelves in the laundry room (before the re-do, so ignore the clutter!) and hung the blossoms upside down to dry.

And they did-beautifully! So beautiful, in fact, that I glittered them and used them on my Christmas tree this year!

You'll see the whole tree and much more during the MHH Virtual Home Tour on Sunday, December 13. Join us!!
P.S.-I dressed the blog up a little bit for the holidays, too!

Love the hydrangeas. Can't wait to see what you've done with them. I better get my pics ready for the tour.
